Largo San Sebastian Cultural Centre

Largo San Sebastian Cultural Centre is a revived space that rescues a live memory from Ancient Manaus. It’s located in the historic centre of the city, beside the Amazonas Opera House. Constructed to the exercise of pleasure and art, it democratizes the access to culture and it is an open space for artists to sell their artistic pieces of work and make money, as well as the local commerce that surrounds the area. The tour in a charrete and the historic buildings are part of romantic scenery within this architectonic whole.  Also, the varied artistic program brings back cultural activities that used to be carried out in different epochs. There are varied cultural activities offered everyday, besides the services like “banca de tacacá” (a stall that sells this regional food called tacacá), newsstands, snack bars and telephone booth.
